Do you do power animal retrieval?

Power animal retrieval is another shamanic method used to connect someone with helping spirits that may show themselves in the form of an animal. Animal spirits offer power, protection, and support. Each of them hold a specific type of energy. However, it is also important to understand that power animals are only one of many appearances spirit guides may take, and at times it is not a form that resonate with someone cosmology, culture or sense of being. It is also frequent for individuals to have more than one animal spirit (or spirit guide for that matter), and for their appearance to shift according to the type of energy, guidance and protection that one needs at the time. The relationship with one’s spirit guides is a very personal, intimate and sacred endeavor. Therefore, as for anything I do as a shaman, my role is not impose on someone’s own perception or vision but to facilitate their connection, help them feel that energy, recognize it, work with it, and trust it, the way it feels right to them, even if they don’t have words for it yet.
