Whatever transpires in your environment is absorbed into the walls, furniture, carpet, ceiling, and objects. Frequently, these negative energies accumulate in the corners and tucked away places. Energy debris can be a result of negative emotions, thoughts, occurrences, and stress that you (your family, your co-workers) have experienced in your space. If you had a negative event happen recently or a lot of sadness or fear, there is a high chance that your space will have absorbed some of that energy. At times \u2014 in particular for older houses or houses (and offices) that have been occupied by other people before you \u2014 those energies can have accumulated over time and be connected to tragic events that you have no idea about. I am very discrete and low key in the way I work, so your neighbors won\u2019t be worried, but I need to clear what&#8217;s around first.<\/li>\n<li>Then I start clearing the outside of the house or building, going around very systematically, as much as I can. If I can\u2019t go around, I find alternatives. I won&#8217;t start clearing inside a house before the outside is completely clear.<\/li>\n<li>Then, I do the inside. I assess and clear very methodically every single room, office or space. And I won&#8217;t leave until everything is absolutely clear.<\/li>\n<li>During that process, I may receive information about what&#8217;s going on and what might be needed so that you resolve the situation that you may be facing. At times, I need to do a quick journey to get more information. I may also give some feedback \/ advice on what to do in the space to help (to give you examples: in two recent cases of houses having just be bought, I alerted the new owners to structural issues that they did not know about and that saved them a lot of money and troubles down the road; I also routinely give advice on how to better organize the flow in the space and implement principles of feng shui so that individuals who interact in the space, live or work, do so with more ease).<\/li>\n<li>I always leave the client with very concrete recommendations. When the occupants of a house or an office staff are present, the whole process often become a collective healing process. But participation is always optional. You might be a healer yourself, a community or spiritual leader looking for someone to walk with you for a while, in a sacred yet non-religious and non-denominational context; you want more than \u201cjust talking\u201d; and you also want someone who has an international experience of mentoring leaders of all walks in life.<br \/>\nYou might feel a calling but don&#8217;t know where to start, or you may feel lost or stuck and need someone to be on your team, someone to serve as your personal growth partner.<br \/>\nYou may feel isolated or not knowing where to start to shift your life and answer your true soul purpose or even understanding what it is.<br \/>\nYou have a sense that you have some personal work you need to do but don\u2019t know where to start or how. You are ready for more than incremental changes, and long for deep, life-changing transformation.<br \/>\nYou want someone who is not going to impose a set formula but meet you exactly where you are. I have to meet my clients exactly where they are along the way. They always remain the one in charge of the process.<br \/>\nAs a spiritual mentor, I use a vast range of tools that integrate body, mind and spirit. I never work only at one level. I draw upon ancient wisdom that can be found in all religious and spiritual traditions and teachings, and combine them with modern consciousness, as well as the results of the latest research in psychology and neuroscience. Why? Because I take the infinite possibilities of neuroplasticity seriously. I therefore brings into each mentoring session both my abilities as a shaman, and the knowledge and tools that I am currently developing with an international team of neuroscientists, spiritual and social leaders.<br \/>\nMore importantly, I make sure that I remain fully present, centered and connected with Spirits in order to tune in to what the mentoree needs exactly in each session, each moment. I don&#8217;t apply a set protocol or a formula that might be very limiting and not correspond at all to what you need.<br \/>\nI also believe that you, as a client, should be empowered, set free. So I design each mentoring program \u2013 specifically tailored to your personal needs, as they evolve from week to week \u2014 so that afterwards, you will have a personalized, authentic roadmap and a full toolbox (that will be yours only and will work with your life) to keep growing on your path. To guide another person, I must fully respect the path they are taking, with complete integrity. I am there to hold space for another person, listening fully to their heart and soul, without any judgment or preconception about what should happen for you or what you should do. The mentoree needs to know and trust that I am on their side, no matter what, and that I am there to fully support their dream, and their path, no matter what it is and what the difficulties are. I am fully there for each person and never hesitate to walk the extra mile if it serves my client. In my book, each person is a star and deserves the same attention and support on my side. In shamanic practices, illness is understood not only in medical terms but also as a way the patient\u2019s spirit is trying to communicate. Therefore, in treating illness, the shaman works to understand what the spirit of the patient is calling for. Where modern medicine focuses mostly on treating the body, shamanism take into consideration the whole person \u2014 the body, heart and mind \u2014 in her environment (including all her relationships and ancestors). Most traditions also recognize that the dis-ease itself (or imbalance in someone&#8217;s life) has a spirit as well; therefore they would ask: What does the disease need? Why did it come? What is it teaching the person? As such, shamanism is a great complement (not a substitute for) to conventional medical or psychological services. When doctors and other medical practitioners refer patients to me, they know that it will help them pass a stuck point in a therapy process, better integrate a treatment or release an energetic or emotional block that is preventing the body from healing. It helps reconnect the different dimensions of the person and return\u00a0the patient to wholeness by restoring or enhancing harmony and well-being. This explains that empowering patients in their healing process is at the heart of a shamanic practice. The healing process allows the patients to renew their connection to themselves, to nature, to others, and to energies and powers greater than themselves. That reconnection also entails a greater awareness and presence to each moment. Beyond better health, patients actually gain wisdom from the process. There is also an understanding that a patient\u2019s healing also brings well-being to the whole family and community and, indeed, individuals report transformation affecting also people around them.<\/p>\n<p>During the process itself, the shaman creates a safe and sacred container for the client to develop a state of deep relaxation and radical presence in which healing energies can be brought to the whole being, bypassing most usual resistances, facilitating a healing most have stopped believing in. One thing all of my clients report is never having felt such a state of peace and relaxation before in their entire life. The different elements of that process are progressively being documented by neuroscience, so that we can progressively understand why this ancient tradition is so powerful.<\/p>\n<p>Another aspect that colleagues in conventional medicine often stress is how this healing approach treat the being not only as a whole but as an absolute unique case. Two persons with similar situations or stories might be treated very differently as the \u2018what\u2019, \u2018how\u2019 and \u2018why\u2019 is happening to them might actually be very different, and their spirit is different. Anyone who has had a trauma, from a shamanic point of view, may have had some loss of their spiritual essence \/ energy, and the shaman may have to retrieve it so that the person can feel whole again.\u00a0Another major technique in shamanic healing work is known as extraction. Extraction involves removing a spiritual intrusion. The shaman can also work as a \u2018psychopomp\u2019 to help \u00a0the deceased in their\u00a0transition. Those are all \u2018techniques\u2019, among others, that the shaman may need\u00a0to use and know how to practice. However, I personally never\u00a0presume\u00a0what a\u00a0person needs, for instance\u00a0that a\u00a0person would have \u2018lost\u2019 her soul (or part of it). The way I work, I agree with clients about the intention(s) for the journey and what the person wants to ask; I always add to the intention that the person receive exactly what they need at this point of their life. Once the intention has been formulated aloud and released, I make sure that I\u00a0get out of the way, in order to allow Spirits to do the work.\u00a0In the journey space, I follow what Spirits show me to do, not what I may think the person needs, and usually there is a lot, and more often than not it leads me to places and situations that I could never have thought of\u00a0myself. Animal spirits offer power, protection, and support. Each of them hold a specific type of energy. However, it is also important to understand that power animals are only one of many appearances spirit guides may take, and at times it is not a form that resonate with someone cosmology, culture or sense of being. It is also frequent for individuals to have more than one animal spirit (or spirit guide for that matter), and for their appearance to shift according to the type of energy, guidance and protection that one needs at the time. The relationship with one\u2019s spirit guides is a very personal, intimate and sacred endeavor.
